If you love brunch like I love brunch, get the book "Brunch at Bobby's" by Bobby Flay. It does not disappoint. The book starts out with drinks of all kinds and sauces that will elevate your brunch. If you are having a fancy brunch and want to impress, how about a Bellini Bar, a Bloody Mary bar, both? Can anyone say Salted Caramel Afffogato? Yes please. Hot White Chocolate, Chai and Bourbon Iced Tea will all make your gatherings infamous and sought-after. Everyone loves a boozy brunch to get our weekend going on a fall Saturday. Plan one for football season and enjoy some college football as you sip your Mimosa or Gin Fizz and enjoy some great food!

How about some hand-crafted sauces to go with your amazing food? Buttermilk Bourbon Caramel Sauce, Almond Butter Syrup and Whipped Butter are amazing on a stack of pancakes. Complimentary jellies, cream cheese and sauces can make your meal! Imagine Bourbon Molasses Butter on some Silver Dollar Buttermilk Pancakes. That's a good morning right there.

And the pancake recipes! There are pancakes galore along with waffles and French toast for all of the breakfast lovers. The waffle recipes are next level so if you love waffles, how about Coconut Waffles, Gingerbread Pumpkin Waffles or Belgian Waffles? Mouth-watering. I like making waffles of any kind and love trying new flavors. This fall weather is whispering "Gingerbread Pumpkins Waffles"!!

The egg chapter is full of delicious choices like frittatas, Crab Cakes Benedict (seriously!), poached eggs, and scrambles. The options just go on and on. A good egg dish is a must for your brunch so pick a recipe that speaks to your tastes. Bobby has included a variety of flavor profiles so you can choose the spice profile you like with everything from Moroccan Eggs to Chiles Rellenos to Texas Eggs Benedict.

Sandwiches can make it into your brunch menu as well and you can try a Croque Madame, panini or a Country Ham and Fried Egg on a biscuit. The addition of a sandwich brings your brunch menu into the lunch category and gives your meal some weight. Cut the sandwiches into fourths to make them go farther and allow everyone a taste.

Fruit is a must on the menu and there's a recipe for Yogurt Creme Brulee that wow everyone! If you need something simpler, how about a panna cotta, Citrus Blueberry Salad or Tropical Fruit Salad? I love fresh fruit of all kinds and even if you don't make a salad, you can include strawberries, grapes, melons or whatever is in season in your display. Fruit adds so much color to your table so take advantage of the great shapes and colors to make your buffet beautiful!

Now for the side dishes! Green salads, like the sandwiches, pull your brunch into the afternoon. There are several versions of home fries to choose from as well as hash. All great additions to your table. Then add some Canadian bacon or sausage and you've got it covered. Your bunch is now over the top! Waffles, eggs, fruit, sides and sandwiches, who could ask for more?

I can! What about the bread plate? Choose from crumpets, biscuits, sticky buns or (and!) beignets to round out your meal. Orange French Yogurt Cake or Browned Butter Banana Bread would be a welcome ending to any brunch. Or how about Pumpkin Cranberry Scones, Shoofly Muffins or homemade toaster pastries? All good and making me hungry.

The last couple of pages give you menu combinations like the New England B&B with Pumpkin-Cranberry scones with Whipped Maple Butter, Crab Cakes Benedict with "Old Bay" Hollandaise on Johnnycakes and Berry Tea Smoothies. Or the Spa Brunch with Smoked Salmon and Green Onion Scramble with Goat Cheese Butter on toast, Grapefruit Salad with Honey-mint dressing and Tea Lattes. This book makes me want to plan a monthly brunch so I can try all of the recipes and menus! It's not New Year's yet but that sounds like a good New Year's resolution!
